At Integrated HealthCare Clinics, Inc. we believe that active exercise therapy is absolutely crucial to the effective rehabilitation of injured people. A strong commitment to a routine of supervised exercise can allow patients to heal much faster and reach their full potential. As a result, they are able to return to work and resume a life of normalcy to the best of their ability.
Our individualized exercise rehabilitation program is supervised by an occupational therapist that specializes in weight training, reconditioning and dynamic stabilization activities.
The basic elements of our rehabilitation program are education, strengthening and conditioning exercise, motivation, safety, post-rehabilitation activities, and life-style changes. After a physician referral (MD,DC,DO) has been obtained, a formal evaluation is performed by the occupational therapist. This comprehensive evaluation provides the therapist with information that enables her to develop a tailored rehabilitation program for each individual.
