AMAS Test: Where, How, and Why not
- Who in my local area has the experience to properly handle the necessary laboratory procedures for and the expertise to
interpret the AMAS?
- In spite of its apparent clinical utility and effacacy, why does the AMA, the National Cancer Institute, the American Cancer Society, and the Oncology Community claim either they never heard of this test or have no information about it?
In other words, instead of these groups giving reasons why they are against using the test, they are simply remaining silent and claiming ignorance in the matter. Why?
To answer your 2nd question would require a long philosophical consultation... I do believe that you may find a partial answer in my AMAS article on our web site, and in books such as "the serpent on the staff." As to your first question, I don't have the pleasure of knowing such a clinic in your area. However, I have ample experience offering individual phone consultations regarding AMAS, including ordering the test for the patient, instructing the local laboratory as to the appropriate procedures whenever necessary, and providing thorough interpretation and recommendations based on the test results. By offering this innovative approach to preventive medicine (ordering your desired tests from afar, providing health education and recommendations/interpretation via phone consultations) we hope to help people become more independent of their frequently reluctant doctors and empower them to take charge of their own health.
